Talk Double Vision: A Conversation Between Two Artists, Rachel Collier + Mary Griffin

Mary Griffin and Rachel Collier, who are both showing new work at Door County Contemporary, met at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2007 and have remained in ongoing conversation about their studio practices ever since. After spending years living art-centered lives in opposite regions of the U.S., they are now both based in the Midwest pursuing very different approaches to painting. Mary currently teaches at SAIC and shows with Dreamsong [Booth 9], while Rachel recently wrapped a successful solo exhibition at Hair + Nails [Booth 5].
